AN appeal has been launched to find a woman who has gone missing from a Worcester hostel.

Careen Earl, aged 24, was last seen at St Paul's Hostel in Tallow Hill on Wednesday, May 30.

She was reported missing by staff a few days later. Despite extensive inquiries to try and trace Miss Earl, officers have been unable to locate her and are now becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

PC Dee Stanley said: "It is very unusual for Careen to stay away from the hostel for more than two nights without telling staff at the hostel where she is going.

"She has now been missing for over ten days. We consider her to be vulnerable and we need to know that she is safe and well.

"She does not appear to have taken any belongings with her and we do not believe she has any money on her.

"We have information to suggest that she is with her boyfriend and that they may have gone to the Kings Lynn area of Norfolk."

Miss Earl is described as black, 5ft 4ins tall, with curly dark brown hair and of a heavy build.

It is unknown what clothing she might be wearing but it is believed Careen is with her boyfriend who is white, 5ft 10ins tall, aged 28 and of a slim build.

Anyone with information about Miss Earl's whereabouts is asked to call police on 0300 333 3000.

Miss Earl is also asked to either contact police or got to the nearest police station to let them know she is safe.
