SIR – Like Sylvia Hillier (Worcester News, May 30) my family, I and many more were bitterly disappointed with the BBC 1 programme from New Road, which ended before the Olympic Flame arrived.
As a result we did not hear the choir.
The members of the choir, children and adults, had spent much time practising and were proud to be part of the programme.
Not much was said about the input of the New College Worcester pupils either.
We did hear that the choir was not allowed to be recorded for some reason.
