SIR – After commenting on the Worcester News letters page about councillors up and down the country awarding themselves big salaries, it occurs to me that the bankers are another lot.
They award themselves big bonuses. It’s so easy for them because it is other people’s money and they’ve been allowed to get away with it.
I think the Government should step in and put an end to this nonsense instead of worrying about tax on a hot pasty.
