POLICE will be conducting interviews in connection with an incident in which a group of cyclists were forced off the road by a 4x4 as it overtook them.
Some among the group of 14 cyclists ended up with injuries including a broken collar bone, bruises and cuts after they were overtaken as they rode along the B4424 Callow End to Upton-upon-Severn Road on Sunday, May 27.
Although the vehicle, described as a Land Rover Discovery, never touched the cyclists, many ended up coming off their bikes and police have treated the incident as a road traffic crash.
PC Ian Doidge, investigating, said: “We have identified and traced the vehicle believed to have been involved and the registered keeper is due to be interviewed.”
Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police are asked to call 0300 333 3000, quoting 274/S/270512
