CREEPY-crawlies were on the agenda at Hanbury Hall when children were offered the chance to become nature detectives.
Youngsters taking part in the event at the National Trust property near Droitwich were given nets and allowed to dip into ponds on the estate to discover what lives in them.
Events officer Kathryn Lovell said: “It’s popular with children and a lot of the dads love it as well.
“Sometimes we find great crested newts, which is very exciting, but because they’re protected, we put them back straight away.”
