FLORAL tributes have been left at the scene where a man died after being hit by a train in Worcester.
British Transport Police said yesterday that the dead man was a 28-year-old from Worcester. He has been named locally as Jamie Harding.
Yesterday, flowers had been laid on the railway bridge in Lark Hill Road, near to where his body was found.
One tribute read: “God bless you Jamie. RIP. Will miss you dearly.”
Another said: “RIP Jay. God bless you. Hope you find peace now.”
As we reported yesterday, British Transport Police were called to the scene following a report by the driver of the 8.26am First Great Western Service from Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington.
It was initially believed that the man had “fallen from a height” but CCTV footage revealed he had been struck by the train and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
