A MAN in his 60s has died after his Mini Cooper hit a wall.

Police are hunting for a Good Samaritan who stopped to help following the crash, in which a white Mini hit a wall belonging to a house in Clattercut Lane, Rushock, at 10.15pm on Tuesday.

The householder flagged down a passing motorist to help her get inside the Mini and reach the trapped driver, who was travelling alone.

The man who stopped smashed the passenger side window but left the scene before police arrived.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Senior investigating officer PC Lee Baker said the mystery passer-by was driving a dark-coloured Audi TT and is described as white, in his 20s, with dark hair.

“We are keen to hear from this man or anyone else who may have witnessed the collision,”

he said.

“We believe the Mini had previously been driven from Cutnall Green along Clattercut Lane, towards the A448 Kidderminster Road before it collided with the wall and I would also urge anyone who saw it on its journey last night to contact us."
