AS THE saying goes, two is better than one and the Swan Theatre Amateur Company (STAC) is hoping the adage proves true when their latest production opens tonight.
They will be staging David Tristram’s Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish, directed by Keith Thompson, and Peter Shaffer’s Black comedy, directed by Sue Smith.
Both plays are just one act long, but have very different comedy styles.
Orca tells the tale of a middle age couple who fill their days with dreams of a better life, as seen through the eyes of Orca the goldfish.
In Black Comedy, Carol and Brindsley have invited a millionaire to see Brindsley’s sculpture and impress him.
But when the fuse blows, the characters are left in the dark resulting in hilarious consequences.
