Redditch shooting suspect in court

A MAN will appear in court this morning charged with attempted murder.

The 27-year-old from Redditch was arrested on Sunday (8) after a man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds following a shooting near the town's Matalan in Nailsworth Road at about 11.50am the day before.

DCI Stephen Tonks of West Mercia Police said: "I would like to thank those who have helped our investigation so far and also remind people that anyone who believes they may still have information about this incident can contact us at Redditch CID on 0300 333 3000. If people saw or know anything then I would urge them to do so."
