HUNDREDS of people enjoyed the fourth annual Bransford Blues festival, near Worcester, on Saturday.

The festival, held at the Fold, saw six bands with 25 performers put on around nine hours of blues music.

Organisers said they event was “super” and they were already preparing for next year.

Oliver Carpenter, who organised the event and also performed on stage in the band Mumbo-Jumbo said: “We basically sold out and around 450 people came. It was super.

"Everyone had a ball and we got lots of comments saying it was the best line- up ever.”

Next year’s event is set to take place on Saturday, July 6, 2013.
