TRIBUTES have been pouring in for a popular hairdresser who died suddenly this week.

Scott Weston, owner of Scott’s Gents Hairdressers in Brickfields Road, Worcester, was found dead at his home on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to Bilford Road, Perdiswell, at 7.30am on Tuesday and Mr Weston was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 41-year-old had been working as a hairdresser in the city for more than two decades and trained with friend and former colleague, Chris Lloyd, owner of family-run Roger’s Barber Shop in St John’s, where Mr Weston worked for six years before setting up on his own.

Mr Lloyd said: “We worked together as barbers for many years.

“He was a good friend and we still can’t believe the tragic news. He will be sorely missed.”

Bouquets of flowers have been left outside Mr Weston’s shop and more than a dozen messages of condolence have also been posted here on our website.

Dunnock wrote: “Very shocking and sad news.

“Scott cut my hair for over 20 years and we would speak most mornings on our way to work.

“I got to know him as a man with high moral standards and a wicked sense of humour but most of all he was a nice guy. My condolences to his family.”

Robbo600 posted: “ So sad to hear the tragic news about Scott. Such a great guy anyone would be proud to call a friend. Had a great day with him at the moto GP as well as the odd ride out.

“He was so professional at his job and will be sadly missed. Condolences to his wife and daughter.”
