A STAR of the women’s England cricket team handed out some top sporting tips when she visited Christopher Whitehead Language College in Worcester.

Students were bowled over when all rounder Jenny Gunn called in at the city academy to put them through their paces.

The 26-year-old, a World Cup winner in 2009, was in the city to support the fund-raising for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign .

After visiting the school she was later in action at New Road, home of Worcestershire County Cricket Club, where she officially opened a women’s softball charity cricket tournament in aid of the breast unit campaign.
