WILDLIFE: On the lookout.
CHILDREN and families in Droitwich spent a day learning about the woodland and the wildlife in their neighbourhood as part of a new project set up by Festival Housing.
People living in Baysmeadow helped build bird boxes and were given a guided tour of the woodland around their estate by Andrew Parkes, of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
Paul Edwards, of Festival Housing, said: “The Baysmeadow project aims to bring the community together and teach people about the local wildlife and the environment so that they can be encouraged to take pride in their neighbourhood and look after it.”
