Brothers on bikes hit the road for hospice

GOING ALONG AT A CLIP: Adrian Todd will be joined by his brothers in cycling 100 miles every 24 hours for 10 days
NEVER mind brothers in arms, now there are three brothers on bikes. Adrian, Mike and Steve Todd are setting off to cycle 1,000 miles in 10 days from John O’Groats to Land’s End to raise money for Worcester’s Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Prime mover of the exercise is 49-year-old Adrian, who lives in King George Avenue, Droitwich, and decided to mark his recent retirement after 30 years in West Mercia Police with a charity effort.
“I wanted to do something before I reached 50,” he said. It will be his second cycling fund-raiser, as back in 2005 he was with a group that rode 400 miles across Mexico.
For the UK trip he is joined by brother Mike, 46, of Parkfield Lane, Hallow, and Steve, 51, of Teddington, London, and his son Chris, 21.
Their trip can be followed on a daily-updated blogspot at http://toddboysjogle.blog spot.co.uk/, any donations can be made to his Virgin Money Giving page directly at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AdrianTodd1
