A MAN wanted for an alleged scissor attack has handed himself in.

Ian Burrows, of no fixed abode, has been charged in connection with assaults on a man and a woman at Magg's Day Centre in Worcester last Wednesday.

The 40-year-old has been charged with assault occasioning in actual bodily harm and possession of a knife, blade or sharply pointed article.

He was also charged with criminal damage in relation to a separate incident.

Burrows handed himself in to police on Saturday following a police appeal and was charged yesterday.

He appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court this morning and was remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on October 5.
