BUDDING singers of all ages and abilities are being invited to join Powick Community Choir.
The choir, which already has a 70-strong membership, is seeking new faces. Rehearsals are held at Powick Parish Hall every Sunday, from 4.30pm to 6pm. They will start at 5pm this Sunday. People can also take part in choral workshops on Thursdays from 7.30pm at Callow End Primary School, starting next week, if they are unable to attend Sunday rehearsals.
Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome and there are no auditions. The choir would particularly like to hear from male singers.
The choir is currently working towards a Last Night of the Proms-style concert at the parish hall in October and a performance at Stanbrook Abbey, Callow End. Call Tom Wells on 07752 027026.
