Woman bit police officer on the knee in struggle Woman bit police officer on the knee in struggle

A WOMAN who had been drinking lager all day lashed out at her partner and a policeman because she was petrified of losing her children, a court was told.

Samantha Green, aged 29, of Goodwin Gardens, Evesham, had been at a wedding at a local snooker club with her partner Kyle Price and her children on Thursday, August 16.

Mark Johnson, prosecuting at Worcester Magistrates Court , said that as they walked home along Port Street, Green, who was carrying one of the children, kicked Mr Price five times while he was pushing the pushchair.

There was then an argument and one witness saw Green punch Mr Price in the eye with a clenched fist.

Mr Johnson said police were called to Green’s home but when they tried to arrest her, she started shouting and said: “No, you are not taking me away from my baby”.

She struggled as police tried to restrain her, kicking out, screaming and biting an officer on the inside of his left knee.

Mr Johnson said Green could not remember anything after leaving the snooker club.

Oliver Nicholas, defending, said Green was appalled by her actions.

He said she had been taken into care as a child and as a result, suffered quite badly when she was away from her children.

He said Green, who is now separated from Mr Price, was remorseful and had already started counselling.

Green admitted assault, assaulting a police officer and obstructing a police officer and was released on conditional bail until she is sentenced on Monday, September 17.

I think more does need adding! If this woman was worried about her children, then she should not have spent the day drinking. She obviously has young children who needed her attention 100%. Yes go to a wedding and have the odd drink but not to excess - when you have children-you have responsibilities! These children have seen her abuse her partner and police, what has that taught them? I don't know if her partner was the childrens father, but now they have separated the children have also had to suffer that trauma. Carry on and her fears may be realised.

This womans behaviour suggests that it would be preferable for her to have her children taken away. A shocking example of parenting and personal conduct.
