Going with a bang

AN explosive evening was enjoyed at Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury, as some of the country’s top professional fireworks companies lit up the night sky. Thousands of visitors made the most of a balmy afternoon to enjoy picnics in the castle grounds, before darkness fell and the fourth annual Fireworks Champions event began. Three contenders each put on 10-minute displays set to music, with Redditch-based Shockwave Pyrotechnics declared the winner after a text vote by members of the audience.
