THE rail service between Malvern and London has been disrupted this morning after a man was hit by a train.

The incident took place earlier this morning near Hayes and Harlington station, in London, and involved the 5.48am Paddington to Worcester service.

It caused delays and disruptions on various routes and affected the 9.54am service from Great Malvern to Paddington service, which was re-scheduled to start from Worcester.

Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police are treating the incident as non-suspicious.
