New ministers welcomed by church

THE CONGREGATION at Rainbow Hill Baptist Church in Worcester gathered to welcome two new ministers.
People packed out the church for the induction of the Rev Ian Spence and the Rev Rachel Spence.
Friends from their former churches in Manchester and Bristol along with representatives from various Worcester churches joined with Rainbow Hill members and friends to celebrate the occasion.
The Rev Keith Judson, regional minister of the Heart of England Baptist Association as well as representing the national Baptist Union Corporation, inducted the ministers to Church and Community Ministry.
An address was made by the Rev Jeff Saunders of Worcester Baptist Church, Sansome Walk, encouraging churches to adapt to the changing needs of today’s communities.
