Trains to and from London cancelled after man dies on level crossing near Evesham

Level crossing death
A MAN has died after being hit by a train on a level crossing near Evesham.
The collision happened at the Littleton and Badsey CCTV controlled level crossing at 1.07pm today between Honeybourne and Evesham.
As a result all other services on the Cotswold line were temporarily cancelled but were back up and running at 2.15pm.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “The incident was reported to BTP at 1.16pm and was also attended by officers from West Mercia Constabulary.
“Local paramedics attended and the body of an as-yet-unidentified man was located and pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are currently working to establish the man’s identity. The incident is being treated as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The train involved was the 1120hrs London Paddington – Great Malvern service.
