We can make your wedding a great day to remember
ALL budding brides dream of the day they will marry the one they love in the perfect gown and in stunning surroundings.
Now your Worcester News and the Pear Tree Country Hotel are giving future brides the chance to make their dream a reality with a competition to win a wedding worth up to £6,500.
The day would be set at the picturesque country hotel in Smite, near Droitwich.
The venue promises to ensure the day will be full of great food, fine wine. And with sweeping lawns dotted with lakes, the hotel provides a beautiful backdrop for photographs which will capture the day forever. Michael Pique, the general manager of the hotel, said: “We have the perfect location here, with beautiful lakes and plenty of gardens.
“There is a superb room for the ceremony. The hotel is the perfect place for a couple to begin their lives together.” And everything else will be taken care of in the prize.
A beautiful gown worth up to £800 of the bride’s choosing will be presented by the Bridal Gallery for the day.
Mojo Photography, a friendly company based in Worcestershire, which specialises in creating beautiful, contemporary photographs, will be capturing all the special moments.
The bouquets, centre pieces and chair covers will be provided by the Flower House and Cake Ice will produce a beautiful but delicious three- tier sponge for the day.
All this will be at the fingertips of the winning couple and the prize also includes the Gallery suite for the civil ceremony. This will be followed by reception drinks and a three-course meal with a variety of wines for up to 50 guests. In the evening there would be a buffet with disco for up to 70 guests.
The night will end for the bride and groom with an overnight stay in the recently refurbished luxury bridal suite. To enter the competition, all you need to do is collect 12 tokens being published in your Worcester News from today until Tuesday, October 2, and fix them to an entry form, which will be published on October 2 along with details of where to send your entry.
To check out what will be on offer for the big day, visit the Pear Tree on Sunday for its annual wedding fayre.
The free fayre will be open from 11am to 3pm and there will be a fashion show at 1pm. Alternatively, contact the hotel on 01905 756565 or visit the website thepeartree.co.uk for more information.
The prizes are to be taken next year on Friday, October 4, Friday, October 18, Saturday, October 26, Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 16, subject to availability at the time of the draw.
