THE cast of the international hit comedy Bouncers geared up for their final shows by flexing their muscles at a newly opened riverside eaterie in Worcester.
Ian Reddington, Ace Bhatti, Don Gilet and William Ilkley manned the door at the Quay on the Waterfront café and restaurant in Quay Street yesterday and the menacing quartet face more curtain calls on stage at Malvern Theatres today and tomorrow.
John Godber’s comedy classic, which first appeared in 19977, is set in and around a nightclub and focuses on the exploits of its four doormen, creating a vivid picture of the relentless hedonism of northern night life with its raw energy, flashing disco lights, and raucous lads and lasses out on the town.
