A JOBS and careers fair organised by your Worcester News has proved one of the more successful in recent years, proving there is light at the end of the tunnel for those looking for work in hard times.
The fair held at Worcester Guildhall yesterday between 10am and 4pm attracted 850 visitors, 150 more than the last Worcester News careers fair held in March.
Visitors had the chance to find out about a range of opportunities from 20 exhibitors, including the University of Worcester , Redwood Care, Job Centre Plus and the British Army.
Richard Hencher, recruitment manager at the Worcester News, said: “It was a really good day with a steady flow of people all day. There were some real quality applications.
“The feedback we have had is that it has been a hugely successful event.”
