A WORCESTERSHIRE businessman came face-to-face with a ‘dragon’ when he attended a trade show in London.

Rhys Humm, director of the Holywell Water Company, Malvern, talked shop with Deborah Meaden, of Dragons’ Den fame.

Mr Humm said: “After a Q&A session, she came over and had a chat with me at our stand, asking how we were growing our brand.

"She was interested in the successes we have had so far and our response to bringing Malvern Water back to life.”

Viewers of Dragons’ Den affectionately refer to Mrs Meaden as “the scary one” but Mr Humm said that was not the case.

“I think nothing could be further from the truth. She is engaging, personable and patient, and very interested in exciting businesses,” he said.

And Mrs Meaden was obviously impressed with what Mr Humm had to say as she left with a bottle of Holywell water for her onward journey.
