CENTRE: Fit for purpose (04194003)
A WORCESTER fitness centre is vying for the title of gym of the year.
Worcester Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre in Sansome Walk has been shortlisted in the National Fitness Awards, which will be held at the Athena in Leicester on Friday, November 30 and hosted by Charlotte Ord, a personal trainer from ITV’s The Biggest Loser.
The centre, which is run by Harpers Health and Fitness, will be hoping to flex its muscles at the celebration of excellence throughout the fitness and health industry.
Dave Pugh, contract manager at Worcester Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for Gym of Year at this year’s National Fitness Awards.
“All of the team has worked extremely hard this year and we’re delighted to have been recognised for our innovative and hard work.
“We’re going to have our fingers and toes crossed come November 30.”
