  • UPDATE Fri, Oct 12, 11.50am: Mrs Lambert has now been located. More info here.

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a woman from the Droitwich area who has gone missing.

Angela Lambert, aged 51, who lives on Captain's Lane between Oddingley and Hadzor, went missing from her home yesterday.

She was reported missing at 10.30pm when a family member was unable to contact her.

She seems to have left her home without any personal possessions, without locking up behind her and has not taken her car.

Inspector John McKay, who is leading the search, said: "We are very concerned about Mrs Lambert's state of mind and we need to find her as soon as possible.

"She has been out all night on foot and the weather has deteriorated, so we are also worried her physical wellbeing.

“If anyone has seen her or has any information about her whereabouts, please get in touch as soon as possible."

Information can be passed on to officers via the non-emergency police number 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
