A LEADING Labour politician visited Worcester to see the volunteering work at the city’s Victim Support branch.
David Hanson MP, who is the shadow justice minister, also came to the city to lend his support to Simon Murphy – the party’s candidate for next month’s police and crime commissioner elections.
Mr Hanson said: “I was very impressed with the work at Victim Support, particularly the efforts of the volunteers. I also believe Simon is the best person for the job.”
Victim Support has 10 offices in the West Midlands and dozens more across the country.
It helps about 1.5 million victims or witnesses of crime every year.
