A FLASHMOB of dancers hit Worcester High Street to promote a green energy event at the Guildhall.
The group of 22 students from Kidderminster College chose Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves as their anthem to publicise a free Making Sense of Green Energy day.
Mid-morning shoppers were treated to the impromptu urban dance spectacular and there were also comedy stilt jugglers entertaining the crowds.
Organised by Kidderminster company Eco2Solar, the event was aimed at homeowners looking to reduce energy bills and generate their own electricity by investing in the latest energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.
“We were delighted to have such talented dance students join us in celebrating green energy,” said Paul Hutchens, managing director of Eco2Solar. “What better way to kick off our event than a surprise flashmob dance. It is thanks to the hard work and commitment of the students involved from Kidderminster College that we have been able to make this possible.”
