POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a burglary at an Indian restaurant in Hagley.
The incident happened at the Shenapur in Worcester Road in the early hours of Saturday April 12.
The offender accessed the premises through the gardens of homes on Kidderminster Road and is believed to have left the same way.
He took more than an hour to gain entry to the rear of the premises, having started at about 12.45am and left just after 2am.
A rear fire door was forced, activating the alarm.
Nothing was stolen but around £700 damage was caused to the door.
PC Ian Heeks, of West Mercia Police, said: “CCTV shows people walking past the premises while the alarm was audible so it is likely that someone may have seen the suspect before or after the offence. I am particularly interested in any suspicious vehicles seen around the time.”
The offender is described as being of slim build, wearing a black jacket, a white T-shirt and light coloured trousers.
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact PC Heeks on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 140-s-120414.
