CHARITY fundraisers enjoyed a pint as they counted the pennies raised on a pub crawl through Bromsgrove.

Organised by Claire Martin and her sister Emma, the charity pub crawl was held in memory of their dad Kev.

More than 30 people took part in the event earlier this month, and overall an impressive £1,003.96 was raised.

The money has been donated to Macmillian Cancer Support, the charity that offers practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer.

Claire said: "My dad would have been proud of his daughters and her friends and family.

"We would like to thank all the pubs involved, especially Julie Carter - landlady at the Queens Head - for all her support and for making it a special day."
