MORE jobs are likely to be created in Worcester thanks to the success of the Great Western Business Park.

The city site is now full after developers St Modwen secured long-term leases with leading companies in the automotive and engineering consultancy fields.

Euro Car Parts, the UK’s largest supplier of parts for cars and light commercial vehicles, has committed to a 5,666 square feet unit on a 10-year lease. A total of 25 new jobs will be created at the branch which is opening as part of the company’s rapid expansion.

Materials Solutions, which specialises in advanced materials for the aerospace industry and counts Rolls Royce as one of its blue chip clients, already has 7,200 sq ft at the business park.

The firm’s sales have trebled over the last three years and it has now taken on another 8,533 sq ft on a 12-year lease to help accommodate this growth.

The business park, which is off the Tolladine Road, spans 23 acres and includes modern industrial, secure storage and warehouse space.

Other high profile tenants include Deltacam International, Nemesis GB and Andrew Page.

Jonathan Green, development surveyor at St Modwen, said: “We are very pleased that Euro Car Parts and Materials Solutions have completed our line-up of successful tenants at the Great Western Business Park and that new jobs will be generated.

“The site has always been in demand with high profile occupiers thanks to the high quality of the units and its prime location which offers the ideal base from which to reach both local and wider transport networks.”
