PERSHORE based baby and childrenswear shop Cottontails has gone international.
After three successful year's High Street trading the business has launched its own website, offering their baby toys and gifts to customers across the UK and even overseas.
Owner Charlotte Evans is excited about the new direction Cottontails is taking and loves the idea it's possible to run an international business from a little shop on Pershore High Street.
"The opportunities are endless," she said. "Since launching the website we have been receiving orders from Europe, the US, Australia, all over the place. And it's wonderful to get an email from a customer in say, Japan, thanking us for our service."
Charlotte has been trialling the website for a few months now and the finished version has a slightly different range of stock to the High Street store.
"Whereas the High Street shop is much more about baby and children's clothing, we have found that online shoppers want more toys and gifts, but the emphasis of both is on special, different things," she added.
Charlotte, 32, grew up and lives in Pershore, and is as keen to promote the new website locally as she is further afield.
"There are loads of things on the website that we don't actually have displayed in the shop so even Worcester based customers have something to gain from looking online - we're by no means only aiming at customers a long way away," she explained.
