ONE of the area’s largest ever business events is taking place next Thursday.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce will be combining its annual business exhibitions to present the Chambers Biggest Expo Ever at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

Following the success of previous chamber events, the aim is to bring an even wider range of businesses together to network, raise profiles, showcase skills and expertise, make new contacts and, of course, do business.

Mike Ashton, the chamber’s chief executive, said: “Chamber expos are always a success among local businesses and this year is set to be the biggest one yet.

“What better way to raise your profile, network and attend free seminars than at the Chambers Biggest Expo Ever, which is being held in association with Hewett Recruitment.

“Each zone has specific speakers ranging from food traceability from farm to fork to UKTI passport to success.

“We most certainly have something to suit everyone,” said Mr Ashton.

The exhibition, which has a theme of the future, will also be hosting a series of free seminars and workshops throughout the day.

There will be a wide ranging series of talks and seminars from some of the two counties leading business figures such as cyber security expert Steve Borwell-Fox; Elliott Silk, of English Mutual, who will talk on pension reform; and solicitor Sally Morris addressing the future of employment law.

Export specialist Angela Maxwell and accountant John Painter will offer advice on how to analyse the strengths and sweet spots of any business.

While Adam Marlow-Jones and Nigel Marlow will be giving a presentation on the different types of cloud computing. The event, which is free to attend, runs from 9.30am to 3pm.
