A SITE manager was presented with an award for excellence as his latest showhome was unveiled to the public. Nick Edmond, who works for Bellway Homes, received a quality award from the National Housing Building Council at the launch of Newland Manor in Droitwich. NHBC senior regional director Peter Watton officially opened the showhome and handed over the award.
Mr Watton said: “The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards is the only nationwide competition rewarding exceptional site managers for their work. As a quality award winner in the scheme, Nick Edmond is at the top end of his profession, picked from around 15,000 entrants. His award can be taken by prospective home-buyers as a mark of confidence. I was delighted to open the showhome today at Nick's new development for Bellway at Newland Manor.”
The development comprises three, four and five-bedroom houses in Newland Lane, Droitwich. Forty per cent of the houses have been sold off-plan and four families have already moved in.
