A SERIES of ladies golf networking sessions organised by a Worcestershire law firm, have seen attendances growing.

The ladies' golf networking sessions organised by Thursfields were originally launched back in June.

Attendances have grown so fast since the launch that it has already been extended in 2018.

The event was set up by Laura Williams and Hannah Nicholls, both solicitors at Thursfields, to provide an opportunity for professional women to network, while learning a new skill in a relaxed environment.

Laura Williams, from Thursfields’ Worcester office, said: “We have had brilliant turnouts.

"It is really proving popular and we are increasing in numbers each time.”

Sessions take place at Gaudet Luce Golf Club, in Middle Lane, Hadzor, near Droitwich, with course professional Russell Adams instructing.

The lessons have been taking place once a month, with the next ones scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 14, and Thursday, October 5.

A mini tournament is also arranged, and will take place on Thursday, November 2.

“It has gone so well that we have arranged for the sessions to continue on the first Thursday of every month for next year,” Laura said.

“As we had hoped, the sessions have been a great success and everyone is really enjoying themselves.”

Each session costs £10.50 and starts at 9am with coffee and bacon rolls, golf lessons between 9.30am and 10.30am, followed by drinks in the clubhouse.

Anyone interested in attending one of the sessions should contact either Laura on lwilliams@thursfields.co.uk, or Hannah Nicholls, a solicitor in the Kidderminster office, on hnicholls@thursfields.co.uk.

Spaces are still available at all the scheduled events.
