AN award winning Worcestershire marketing firm has been appointed by Twycross Zoo as its new full-service agency.

Following a competitive pitch Bromsgrove-based Gough Bailey Wright has been selected to provide the full suite of services, including public relations, creative design and digital marketing.

With over 20 years’ experience in the leisure and tourism communications industry, the agency is partnering with the Leicestershire-based zoo as it continues to invest and evolve, five years into an exciting 20 year master plan.

With animal welfare at its core, Twycross Zoo is a popular leisure attraction and conservation charity, as well as a national brand and home to 500 animals from over 100 different species. It houses the largest collection of monkeys and apes in the Western World, and is the only place in the UK to see Bonobos, our closest animal relative.

Sue Bailey, GBW's managing director, said: “We can’t wait to get started and support this amazing charity.

"During the pitch process, it quickly became apparent that we share Twycross Zoo’s values of passion, dedication and integrity.

"I am extremely proud to see the agency setting out on a journey with such a fantastic client team.”
