BUSINESS owners in Worcestershire can discover a range of ways to gain funding at a free workshop being held later this week.

The Attracting Investment Workshop takes place in Malvern this Friday, February 9, hosted by the Worcestershire Clean Tech Innovators Network.

The event is being held at The Fold, New House Farm, and will look at various issues, from peer to peer funding and angel networks to crowd funding, with local accountants Baldwins on hand to deliver a presentation on Attracting Investment. It is the second meeting of the new network, which has been set up to support businesses which are developing the next generation of low carbon technologies.

Businesses of any type are welcome to attend, with lunch also set to be provided.

Councillor Tony Miller, cabinet member for the environment at Worcestershire County Council, said: "This meeting promises to offer an insightful look at attracting inward investment into local companies, helping to ensure that Worcestershire continues to be a great place to do business."
