A NATIONAL housing developer, which has recently expanded with a new regional headquarters in Worcestershire, has announced plans to build hundreds of new homes in the West Midlands.

In January the Worcester News reported Miller Homes is opening a new office at Brook Court on the Whittington Park office development in Worcester, following a deal overseen by Bruton Knowles.

Miller Homes Midlands has now announced plans to bring more than 334 new homes to the West Midlands, with developments planned in Warwickshire and Gloucester.

Spread across a number of sites, the developments offer properties suited to everyone from first-time buyers to families looking for more space to grow

A total of 800 new homes will be built across the Midlands by Miller.

Alastair Parsons, area sales director for Miller Homes Midlands, said: “All our teams worked hard to ensure 2017 was a record-breaking year for us, with a total of 680 homes being built.

"Our plans to launch more developments are already underway and we’re confident we can exceed last year’s figure in the coming 12 months, helping even more people secure their dream property.

“We’re also on course to build 648 homes on our popular existing sites, including Parklands in Wythall, Cathedral View and Roman Heights in Streethay, Ravenscroft in Droitwich, and Oak Grange in Mickleton, providing even more choice for buyers in the region.”

The latest plans form part of Miller Homes Midlands’ growth ambitions in the region, which includes the new city office alongside its existing site in Derby.

“With a stronger presence in the West Midlands, we’re now in a fantastic position to deliver more housing and more choice in this sought-after part of the country,” Mr Parsons added.
