HEREFORDSHIRE and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has been selected on a national prestigious list of companies to work for.

The Sunday Times top 100 best not-for-profit organisations to work for 2018 has listed the chamber on the list of businesses that have exceptional investment in their employees.

Sharon Smith, chief executive, Dawn Hardman, director of human resources, Jennifer Madzarevic, finance manager, and Lucy Allen, public relations executive, attended the glamorous best companies awards ceremony on Wednesday, February 21, at Battersea Evolution, London to receive the award.

The chamber has been named as 46th on the list in its first year of application. In addition to this accolade the chamber has also received a one-star accreditation from best companies, which is a significant achievement for businesses as it shows that the organisation has “very good” levels of workplace engagement.

Mrs Smith said: “The award truly highlights how passionate the chamber team is about supporting the local business community. I’d like to thank the chamber team for their continuous hard work, but I’d like to also extend this to our members who are the driving force behind the work.”
