WORCESTERSHIRE accountancy firm Bishop Fleming is enjoying continued growth after clinching a major client, in a Pan-Europe initiative.

The firm has celebrated winning the UK audit of the international Zetor Tractors group, which also has branches across Europe as well as the USA and India. Zetor Tractors started in 1946 in Czechoslovakia and now exports to more than 136 countries, having sold more than 1.3 million tractors worldwide.

Bishop Fleming collaborated with fellow member firms of the Kreston International network, which covers more than 100 countries, to secure the deal with the Czech Republic group, which will see the Worcester firm undertake the audit of the Zetor group’s UK corporate presence, as well as assist financially for the worldwide group.

City-based chairman of Bishop Fleming, Ian Smith, said: “This marvellous win as part of our membership of the Kreston network, alongside our increasing international client work, our connections with the globally-focussed Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, and our award-winning corporate finance and tax teams confirms our international credentials.”

"What really differentiates Kreston from the other international networks is that Kreston firms actually know each other personally.

"The people involved in the Zetor bid had recently spent time together in Cambodia at the Kreston World Conference.

"Our part in Kreston’s Pan-European bid for the Zetor work is a great example of why Bishop Fleming remains as one of the fastest-growing firms of accountants in the UK.

"As we approach Brexit, we see an increasing number of opportunities for doing business overseas."
