A THRIVING Worcestershire firm of chartered accountants has expanded its team following a period of growth.

Hayward Wright Accountancy Group has recruited four experts in accountancy, tax and payroll after winning a series of new contracts across the region and the UK.

The firm, which has offices in Worcester and Redditch, has appointed Barry Tilson and Tasneem Qureshi, personal tax manager Sue Atkin and payroll senior Ann Rhodes.

The appointments of the four specialists takes the firm’s headcount to 22 - a rise of 47 per cent in two years.

Managing director Alistair Hayward Wright said: “As evidenced by high employment rates across the region, many businesses have been expanding their workforces and taking on new business.

“To achieve this, they have needed expert tax and accountancy advice and I am delighted that we have expanded our own team to meet those demands and help our clients capitalise on the surge in economic growth.

“Welcoming four experts in their respective fields, working across our offices in Redditch, Worcester and Solihull, is another great milestone for us as we approach the second half of 2018.”

The jobs news comes only two months after Hayward Wright became a platinum partner with cloud based accounting platform, Xero. Mr Hayward-Wright said back in April that the software deal would grow its dedicated cloud accounting team from two to 15 by the end of 2020.

Hayward Wright Accountancy Group specialises in a variety of financial matters including tax planning, book keeping, accounts, audit reports and commercial finance.

Aside from the city office in The Cross and the Redditch headquarters, Hayward also has an office in Solihull.
