THERE is now only a week left to apply for the inaugural cohort in the first-of-its-kind tech accelerator programme, BetaDen. We have already received lots of interest to join the programme and I would urge start-up businesses and entrepreneurs to register their interest soon.

The launch of BetaDen, led and funded by the Worcestershire LEP with support from leading local technology and cyber businesses, aims to build on the region’s increasing reputation as a hotspot for technology firms.

The team and I believe that BetaDen provides a very unique workspace because of its environment alongside the Worcestershire LEP team and Worcestershire’s 5G testbed project team; we think this collaborative atmosphere will enable entrepreneurs and technology businesses to get their next-generation innovative ideas off the ground, gain routes to market and catalyse further business growth.

We will be accepting up to 10 applicants for the first BetaDen cohort and these successful applicants will gain access to high-calibre technology, business mentors, proof of concept funding and quality refurbished office space at its hub at the heart of the UK’s Cyber Valley, Malvern Hills Science Park.

This is a very unique opportunity for innovators and businesses from across the West Midlands to join Worcestershire’s first tech accelerator as there are many benefits on offer. The deadline is quickly closing in and I would urge anyone who is interested in joining the BetaDen programme to complete their application before the deadline of Friday, August 17.

I look forward to meeting the first wave of BetaDen members when the programme starts in early October. If you would like to register, visit the BetaDen website, beta-den.com or contact the team by calling 01905 672700 or emailing info@beta-den.com
