WHEN a Los Angeles art director was asked to carry out an urgent job by a new film company while visiting his parents in Kidderminster, he turned to Worcester-based Market Link Creative Marketing for help.

Originally from Northfield in Birmingham, Peter Remmers has spent the last 10 years working in America producing work for TV programmes including Will and Grace, The Cosby Show and Law and Order, adverts for companies such as McDonald's and American Express and films including Elvis Has Left The Building, starring Kim Basinger.

"I wasn't expecting to be doing any work while I was here," said Mr Remmers. "So I was a little stuck when I got a call from a client asking me to put together some urgent ideas for poster concepts for a romantic comedy, Forever Spain.

"I didn't have any of my equipment with me so I approached Market Link's creative team to see if they could help and was delighted when they kindly offered to let me use their studio.

"Not many companies would invite a stranger to work from their offices but everyone's been extremely accommodating and their support has really helped me out of a tight spot."

Studio manager Rob Meredith said: "It's quite common for us to be briefed on jobs that must be completed at short notice so we could empathise with the situation Peter was in."
