INSPIRATIONAL building projects in Worcester are being sought for the prestigious annual City Awards Scheme.
The scheme, which began in 1981, aims to recognise and encourage works that have made a significant contribution to the environmental improvement of Worcester and entries are now open for this year's competition.
Nominations can come from any quarter, including architects, builders, developers and members of the public.
Entries can be either full-scale new-build or renovation works, but can also be just a smaller project such as a sympathetic paint scheme or new shop front, or detailing such as landscaping, paving or boundary treatments.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 30, and judging will take place in early September. Entries can be sent via e-mail to cmwilliams@worcester.gov.uk or online at www.worcester.gov.uk.
