TO help you look a little lovelier each day, a new dedicated medical aesthetics clinic is opening in Malvern.

Run by the husband and wife team of Andrew and Angela Rankin, Regenix in Church Road will hold a launch evening on Wednesday, September 6 with entrance costing £5 and all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.

"Regenix optimum objective is to help create the foundations for beautiful, younger looking skin," explained Andrew.

"The canvas for which cosmetics will enhance the overall picture and not have to be used as a mask.

"We pride ourselves on a holistic approach whereby the individuals' specific needs are discussed and realistic results are presented.

And, most important of all, Regenix offers a second to none after-care service whereby all clients will have the opportunity to make enquiries or discuss any related issues to their treatment at any time, not having to wait to make an appointment in a month's time as can be the case with undedicated establishments," he said.

Andrew began his training 21 years ago at the Hammersmith Hospital, London, where he qualified as a registered general nurse and moved on to developing his career specialising in intensive care nursing and particularly cardio-vascular care.

He has worked in both NHS and private hospitals and eventually his career path took him into the world of medical aesthetics - facial enhancement without the use of surgery.

He undertook this very specific training in Harley Street and now is a trained practitioner in the use of botox, dermal fillers, chemical peel procedures and medical quality skin care products which do not require a prescription but which equally can only be provided with proper medical supervision.

"As the old saying goes your face is your fortune and therefore should be treated with care and respect," Mr Rankin added.

"For example, we believe that the skin peels should be seen as part of your normal grooming routine as would be a visit to the hairdresser or even the dentist.

"Planning in advance to look your best empowers the individual with confidence when going about his or her daily routine.

"Also when planning for that special occasion such as a wedding, a beautiful complexion can make that all important difference to the photographs," he added.

All are welcome at the launch evening when there will be a presentation of treatments offered.
