TWO independent financial advisors from Malvern have really hit the bullseye after securing a prestigious deal to represent the interests of the world’s top darts players.

Sean Jones and Gary Morris have won the contract to be the recommended independent financial advisers (IFAs) to members of the Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA).

The pair pitched for the PDPA business earlier this year and were thrilled to discover their bid was on target.

Mr Jones said: “We are naturally over the moon to have been chosen by the PDPA. It’s a superb endorsement and we are very proud.

“We are obviously keen to provide members with a first-class service and we are in the process of building them their own unique website, enabling them to see the financial products they own, obtain valuations, and access a wide range of financial information.”

The pair are part of national IFA network 2plan wealth management, which is now recognised as the PDPA’s preferred IFA.

The PDPA, initially formed in the early 1980s and reconstituted under the auspices of the Sports Industries Federation in 2001, was set up to look after the interests of professional players through an annually elected board.

Chairman Peter Manley said: “2plan has an accredited portfolio of sought-after expertise and a good business ethos, particularly in terms of client service.

“Its members are dynamic and professional, and I am most impressed by their personal integrity, which is extremely rare these days. I know that my members will be in safe hands.”
