FINDING that dream job is now as difficult as ever, but your Worcester News has again come to the rescue to offer help and advice on finding a new career.

The Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair, in association with Bright Assessing, will take place in the Guildhall , Worcester, on Thursday, September 20. Following on from the success of the previous fair held in March, this established event continues to give local jobseekers the chance to gather information on a variety of local employment opportunities and training and educational courses.

The fair will welcome new exhibitors, as well as hosting returning stands. Richard Hencher, Worcester News recruitment manager, said: “It is really important and also very positive that we continue to help local people by organising this careers event. “The last fair in March was a huge success and attracted more than 750 visitors. We received lots of positive feedback and success stories from jobseekers and exhibitors alike.”

The sponsor of this year’s event, Bright Assessing, which specialises in training people to become NVQ Assessors, is exhibiting again following on from their success at the previous event.

Samantha Thwaites, narketing manager, said: “We had more than 80 enquiries into our assessing course on the day from people who were looking for a job or a new career, many of whom had experienced rejection after rejection and felt we had provided them with a lifeline.”

To find out more about exhibiting at the fair, call Richard Hencher on 01905 742355. The fair will be open from 10am until 4pm. Admission is free. To view video footage from previous events, visit worcester news. co.uk/jc.
