WORCESTER-based property consultancy Harris Lamb has been named the most active commercial agent in Worces-tershire for 2012 after completing more transactions than any other agent over the past year.

Staff at the company’s office in Grosvenor House, St Mary’s Street, were awarded the industry accolade by the Estates Gazette after beating off competition from commercial agents throughout the county in the regional EGi Deals 2012 contest.

In addition to the most successful agent award, senior chartered surveyor Nick Aylett was also singled out as the most active deal maker.

Director Jacqui Bayliss, who heads the Worcester office, said: “Harris Lamb has a long history of most active regional agent recognition and we’re thrilled to have come out on top this year.

“Commercial property is a very competitive field, so to be recognised at this level is quite an honour.

“These are challenging times, but we have a very committed team and pride ourselves on our proactive approach when it comes to putting the client first.

“So to have our efforts acknowledged and rewarded in this way brings it home that our work is all worthwhile.

“The fact that we’ve done the double in this year’s competition, thanks to Nick’s dedication, is the icing on the cake,” said Mrs Bayliss.
