Forthcoming election
The election on 2nd May gives you an opportunity to elect a county councillor who needs to be fully involved in local issues, rather than focusing on national party politics.
Having met so many local people in the last 12 months who are concerned about traffic, road and pavement conditions in the area, if elected I will make it my number one priority to fight to ensure that resources are allocated to this important area of need.
Being able to use the pavements and roads in a safe manner affects our everyday quality of life, and that is why I will focus on improving this particular aspect of life in Claines.
South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP)
When it comes to local issues, I am not afraid to put the interests of local residents above party politics. This was evident when I voted against SWDP because of its inclusion of Gwillams, Northwick Farm and the Royal British Legion proposals to build on green sites in Claines.
When it comes to looking after Claines and its residents needs I am committed and would be proud to serve the area.
